Annual General Meeting Invitation

GENERAL
The P & C AGM is a great night out! We provide wine, cheese and other nibblies, and we also provide some child care for the night. Bookings are preferred so please contact us, and we can only care for children Prep age and up.

BUT that doesn't mean you can't bring along your other children!! Our previous Vice President's baby didn't miss a meeting!! So bring the kids along for some fun activities from 6:00 pm!

All positions below will be vacant so come and give it a go (see down the page for a run down on the roles of the positions).

What Are The P & C Positions?

Presidents - A joint position of leadership, representation, bank/cheque signatory, communication, encouragement and meeting chair.

Vice President – President understudy, with the above duties if required.

Secretary and Assistant – The following jobs are divided between the two however it suits them: keep attendance and register records, open and sort mail, record and display of meeting minutes, file P & C documents, bank/cheque signatory, P &C newsletter, communication liaison.

Treasurer and Assistant - The following jobs can be divided between two people if required: Banking, bank/cheque signatory, receive bookkeepers report and present it to P & C.

QCPCA Representative - This is a vital role as the QCPCA is our state P & C body. We need the news and information from their meetings and other hand outs, or we fall behind the eight ball… and so do your children.

Fundraising Co-Ordinator – This is a new position as the great new healthy food choices will limit our previous fundraising ideas. So if you have any ideas for fundraising, or are interested in helping in a small way, this is for you!

Grants Co-Ordinator – This is a new position as there is so much funding available that we don't get a part of. It would be writing letters, filling our grant application forms, and liaising with the school and P &C.

Healthy Food Choices Liaison - This position is vital in our growing school community and can be shared. The Healthy Food Choices Liaison would be responsible for checking that events are not “Red” food days, and updating the P & C and Tuckshop on any new regulation changes.
