OUR GREAT FETE WILL BE DIVINE IN '09!

Yes 2009 is just around the corner and it is a Fete year at Jamboree Heights State School. You might wonder why some schools have their Fete every year and we don't. The simple answer is we do not have the volunteers to organise such a huge event every year. Which is very sad becasue we have a school community of about 700 students, and they are the ones that miss out on a great day and all the wonderful benefits the money brings to their education.

So if you are interested in a lot of fun and the satisfaction of seeing 700+ students have the time of their lives, then please contact us or see our Fundraising page to lend a hand!

If you are new to the school or area, please check out some great photos, and a wrap up by the Co-Ordinator of our Multiculturally-themed Fete held in 2007, which was an excellent success.

If you attended the Fete it's not too late to let us know what you thought so we can make it even better this time!

FETES ARE FOR THE KIDS

This year's Fete theme is the . With some good feedback on the last Fete, we have taken a fresh look at the whole Fete idea, and have come up with, what we think will be, a cracker of an idea. We are looking at the Fete from the kids point of view, because although it does raise desperately needed funds, it is first and foremost a great day out for the students of the school and local community.

So we are thinking of the following fun and attractions so far, but really do need your input and support. So please let us know what you think of our ideas, how you want to help and especially if you can suggest a company who provides, or become a co-ordinator for, any of the items below.
