JHSS Fete 2009 Wrap Up

Our school community at Jamboree Heights deserves to be congratulated for their combined efforts to raise funds at the fete last week end. Our appreciation is extended to:

• Our local sponsors who were very generous in their support of our fireworks, raffle prizes and auction items.
• Our families and students who donated goods for stalls, raffles and prizes through our Free Dress Day donations.
• Our very busy family members and staff who baked and prepared for the food stalls.
• A small band of tireless stall workers, including parents and staff, many of whom spent all day on their feet working behind the counters.
• Staff and students who provided entertainment on the main stage, some high quality art works for sale and a fantastic effort to recycle your books and games at the humble jumble stall.
• Mr Jennings and Mr Knight who did an excellent job as comperes on the day.
• Mr Robinson who worked tirelessly in setting up and cleaning up - all day and night.
• Finally our Executive members of P & C and the Fete Organising Committee who worked for many months to co-ordinate a fabulous day of fun, food and activities for this school community.
